So you are wondering if a saltwater aquarium is for you. Most people believe that marine aquarium keeping is infinitely more difficult than fresh water. Not so. The simple truth is that saltwater fish and invertebrates are not necessarily more difficult to maintain, they just have different needs of freshwater fish and are a bit less tolerant when it comes to errors. Reef Tank and Fish Tank: What is the difference?

There are many different ways that you can create an aquarium depending on what you like and what you most interested in the hobby. By So fans tend to put the names of different types of aquariums that can be set because they have similar requirements in terms of overall classification the tank.

Only fish tank
A fish only tank is a tank that is dedicated to keeping fish, without any corals, anemones or clams. May contain some mobile invertebrates mainly to help keep the tank clean. This set up is easier and less expensive set then reef tank. This type of deposit can be classified into two different areas, so the fish only or fish only with live rock.

Reef Aquarium
A Reef Aquarium contains a large amount of life with the main objective that corals or anemones. This type of system in general, contains a variety of species require highly specialized facility. The needs of the corals or anemones while fish take priority in these tanks are judged. Although usually classify all tanks with corals in it as a reef tank, there are still different types of reef tank soft, LPS (large polyp stone) and MSF (stone small polyp) tanks. These three study groups also have different needs.
