How can I build a pool as the Monterey Bay Aquarium?
I know how I can build a pool in a backyard. I want a machine that causes water to move smoothly back and forth like small waves. If you are ever in Monterey Bay Aquarium, which have a wave machine in a small area with a lttle bit of sand. It's like a small beach and can see a side view of it as your foot behind the glass. Any help on how to start working on this or any ideas you have would be very useful? Or if you know that make these cmpanies it useful too.
You will need a good strong engine, a frame, an eccentric (CAM), a gearbox and the reduction of a long arm (long enough to kep the engine out of water.) and a paddle. (It could be any something that is long and wide as a table.) The blade must be set to fame at one end, but with a flexible joint, more like a flap, the arm is connected to the other end, which in turn is screwed to the camera that is installed on the bottom of the gearbox. The engine is connected to the wall at the end of the gearbox, and when run, the camera moves the arm back and forth, causing the blade to move too, that when placed in the water creates waves, and slowly, almost like tidal wave! the greater the eccentricity of the camera, plus the movement of the pallet, and therefore, most of the waves!
